Keep the evidence clear.
PackProof compares explicit pack labels in Shopify’s Admin product catalog with quantities a merchant has approved. It does not inspect physical contents or every sales channel.
Before relying on a finding
- Confirm the selected Shopify variant and the approved items-per-pack source.
- Run a complete catalog recheck. A failed or incomplete check does not resolve prior evidence.
- Review the exact finding evidence and correction guidance. “Reviewed” records acknowledgement; only a later successful matching observation can mark it resolved.
Exports
Use Plan & data → Download JSON. The app authenticates the request through Shopify App Bridge, prepares the file in your browser, and reports whether the download request was sent. Browser download controls can still require permission. Export remains available when monitoring is inactive.
Contact support
When asking for help, include the shop domain, the time shown in PackProof, and the visible error text. Do not send passwords, Shopify access tokens, lifecycle secrets, cron secrets, or downloaded evidence unless the configured support channel explicitly requires it.
Current operating limits
- Starter monitors 25 references with a weekly minimum cadence; Growth monitors 250 daily; Pro monitors 1,000 daily.
- Scheduled cadence requires the deployed background worker to be running.
- Pack parsing covers supported explicit English pack labels. Supplier records, translated storefront text, B2B contexts, checkout behavior, and physical contents require separate verification.
